    Gerise's Faith Statement

Jesus is the son of God. He was born of the Virgin Mary and baptized by John the Baptist. He brought the word of God to mankind. He was crucified, died, buried and rose on the third day for the atonement of our sins. He ascended into heaven and is sited at the right hand of God. He will come again.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting. ... For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

I graduated from a college prep school high school and college in Chicago. I majored in accounting and have worked as an auditor for over 30 plus years. I am a mother to David Naylor. A friend to many and a child of God.

    Jessica's Faith Statement

Commitment - Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. The Bible is God’s Word revealing Christ and his redemption. I am certain that the teachings of this church reflect this revelation. I promise to join with Mt Hebron Baptist Church members in sharing gifts in worship and fellowship.

Overview - A little love can certainly go a long way when our lives become unpredictable and chaotic or when we are facing trials of this life that can make us become weary, discouraged, fearful and sometimes confused. A Malcolm X College co-worker named Gideon Walker (Victoria Walker's son) changed my life trajectory by introducing me to Mt Hebron Baptist Church during the period June 2020.

Life - I was born in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois and raised in Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As I spent my early years in Florida, I returned to Illinois to be with my cancer stricken brother (only sibling). Life blessed me with four beautiful children (one daughter and three sons) and a grandson.
